High Density Fibreboard
High Density Fibreboard are divided into two types:

• plate dry method of production (the name of the HDF)
• wet plate method of production (the name of hardboard)

Major differences in technical characteristics of these types of boards:

• density
• strength
• swelling ratio
• fiber structure

Plates of the dry method of production - smooth on both sides, plate thickness, usually does not exceed 10 mm.
Plates of wet methods of production - smooth on one side, with the second sides are mesh surface, the thickness of plate, as a rule, does not exceed 3.2 mm.
